My condolences to Jack and his entire family. Losing a loved one is the most difficult and painful experience an individual can have. I lost my grandfather less than a year ago and still feel the sting. I do not know how people survive the loss of a husband or wife, but I do wish Jack all the courage and care one can muster up. Not everyone may agree with him, but he is, in this viewer's opinion, a very good, forward, intelligent, astute, and keen journalist.
Cafferty family, I wish you the best of luck moving on in the future and that you find some solace in this time of pain.

It is with my sincerest sadness to hear of the untimely passing of Jack's beloved wife Carol. I've been a huge fan of Jack ever since he arrived on the New York scene, and was pretty distraught when his professional life crashed. I was once again so thrilled to see Jack back on air, and applauded CNN for being strong enough to give him such a forum. I am so, so sad about the news about Jack's wife Carol. I remember a few weeks ago Jack and Wolf were having a light moment near the end of the show because Jack was going to miss some news event because he was taking Carol to a "chick flick". Wolf's closing line was "...and she loves you for it". I am sure she did, and Jack obviously cared greatly for her. I too sobered up so as not to risk losing my wonderful wife. My heart goes out to Jack and his family.

I was saddened to hear today, that Jack Cafferty's wife died suddenly. It is never easy for anyone to lose a spouse and loved one but I believe it is especially tough for journalists because so much of their lives are dominated by the irregular nature of working in the media.
It takes an exceptional woman/man to marry a journalist and it sounds like she was one. She will be missed by her friends and loved by Jack. I hope he recovers and returns to the network to honor her memory.

My heart and prayers go out to you and your family during this time of loss. Although I don't know you personally, I feel I do know you because of your work and your spirit. Jack,
I only know you from your show. But I have always liked you, and now I know a little more why. Wolf B's tribute to your wonderful wife today, moved me. As you must know, he read your dedication from your book to her. You had something special with this woman. I know, I have the same type of thing with my wife. I know you will miss her, but you have so many memories that will keep her near you forever. Like my wife, I think she helped you to be more honest with yourself and it comes through on air. I am Kansas-born and lived in the KC, MO area for a few years. I recognize a good thing when I see it. You're a good man and my heart goes out to you at this time. Know that you have support all over this country. God bless you, Jack.

Jack,
You and your family are in our prayers. There is no doubt your wife, Carol, is in "that better place" but even the sureness of that cannot lessen your current pain but those who have survived the loss of loved ones know that it is not that easy to just give up either. Hang on, you DO HAVE A REASON TO GO ON even if you don't feel like it now. You may have lost your "right arm" but you have much yet to give – for her because she loved you if there seems to be no other reason at times.
May God Bless You and Keep You,
Pat & Earl

You are the man who defines "Straight Talk". How you tap on the core issues of our society and the country is inpirational with human highest honesty in English. I admire your courrage and ethic.
Nothing can replace your sudden lost but I am sure you will find comfort from the work you are passionately dedicated. Just think how much time Carol has now for herself to enjoy your wisdom, wit and straight talk.
Take good care of yourself. America will waiting patiently for your return to Cafferty's File.

Then fill it with remembered joy,

Dear Jack,
I just now learned why you aren't in the Situation Room today and I am so very sorry.
I listened to Wolf's message and it sounds like there was a lot of love for a very long time with your wife. He told some beautiful stories.
I also hear that she had helped/motivated your becoming sober and giving up cigarettes. Bless her! And congratualtions to you for "following up".
God be with you and your family.

My sympathies on your profound loss.
Condolences to your entire family. I work with the World Society for the Protection of Animals and was happy to hear of your late wife's love of animals.
Jack,
I am sorry to hear of your loss. You and your family are in my prayers.

But for those fans like myself, we all know how much Carol meant to Jack, and we all are feeling his pain and loss.
Sorry to hear about your wife Jack. Thoughts and prayers to you and your family. She sounds like an amazing woman after Wolf spoke about her.
You and yours are in our thoughts.
Very deeply sorry for your loss Jack,I'm sure Carol was a great person as you are.
Jack,
I just heard from watching CNN of your loss. My condolences to you and your family. I have always enjoyed watching and listening to you and look forward to more in the future.
Be certain that God has a special place for your loved one.
A concerned listener and supporter.

Mr, Cafferty,
What terrible news!
I follow you daily and feel I know you.
Life deals us hard blows and we all know how difficult it is to live without someone we love dearly.
Please accept the very sincere sympathy from someone you don't even know.

Sorry about the loss of the your wife. I was looking forward to your commentary which is always the highlight of my day but your loss is important than the commentary. I hope that you recover from your precious loss and I know and pray that your wife is resting in peace. I do believe that she is in a better place. Thank you for being Jack Cafferty and you are the best on CNN. Without you I do not really enjoy watching CNN. I hope that you come back soon and pray again for you and your wife. Stay strong in this difficult time.
Jack, you are a good man! sorry to hear about your great loss. You are an inspiration to america. Keep expressing your tremendously honest opinion about the election and the world will be a greater place to live.

Jack, my condolences to you and your family.
Dear Jack,
Your segment on the situation room is one I always look forward to watching and can't miss. I have never felt compelled to write a comment of my own until I just heard it live that you will not be on the show because of the loss of your wife. I'm so sorry for your loss and wish you and your family God's strength and comfort through this trying time.

Dear Jack...
My deepest sympathy lies with you and your family at this time. Hearing Wolf Blitzer's description of Carol, she must have been an amazing woman. A woman whose values will carry on with your children and grandchildren. Please know alot of people will continue to have you and your family in their prayers at this time.
So terribly sorry to hear of your wife's passing; please know you're in our daily prayers and we wish you and your family the best during this terrible time.
My deepest sympathy on the death of your wife. I know what it's like, my dear husband passed away suddenly in 1974 and I still miss him. Take it on day at a time and you will find that some day you will be able to smile and even laugh again. Cling to your children, they have suffered a loss too. Believe me, it does get easier. I shall pry for her soul. MT. LAUREL, N.J.
Deeply saddened for your great loss..you must know that you have many many friends across the world, and as one of them I wish you peace and healing...don't know what else to say except am thinking of you.

Dear Mr. Cafferty,
My heart and prayers go out to you and your family during this time of loss. Although I don't know you personally, I feel I do know you because of your work and your spirit. It is never, ever easy losing someone you love dearly, and I was touched by Wolf Blitzer's description of your relationship with your wife, Carol. I don't know your religious views, but my family and I will keep you and your family in our prayers and may you stay strong. Fight, fight, fight through the pain and loss.
Sincerely, Darrell Hargrove
I simply saying this....if McCain wins, me and my wife are making plans to move our family to Europe, Japan or Mars. This is a critical election, our lives are at stake.
Jack,
I only know you from your show.
May God Bless You and Keep You,
Pat & Earl
Jack,
Wolf just announced the news about the sudden death of your wife Carol. My heart and prayer goes to you and the family.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I too married a rock that help me get sober 16 years ago and enjoy life for what it really is. May god give you strength, understanding and sobriety.
If my parting has left a void,
Then fill it with remembered joy,
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,
Ah yes, these things I too will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow.
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life's been full, I've savoured much,
Good friends, good times, a loved ones touch.
I am so sorry for you and your family's loss.
We're praying for your family and that God strengthen you during this time of bereavement.
Blessings...
