All it means is they have brains Jack. They (Big Business) watched the country go down the toilet over the last 8 years just like you and I did. Its time for a change and everyone knows it. To everyone else please give Obama a couple years before you pass judgement. The man isn't even in office yet!

They always were. Only difference was the specific businesses were different. Reality is both parties are run by big businesses, they are just different businesses. The ultra rich Dems are about to make windfall profit in their various industries as the ultra rich Republicans have been doing for the last few years.

Big busiess is always part of our society. The difference between Democrats and Republicans toward big business is "social responsibility". From Democrats' point of view, making money cannot sacrafies other important things to our society, such as "poluting the environment", "shipping job oversea", "creating tax shelter on other countries",...

...the Republican business people have finally figured out that the deficits during a Republican administration are higher than during a Democratic administration...and...all things considered...they would rather raise taxes to cover those deficits than pass them on to their children's children...

The voice of the Blue Collar worker has been drowned out during GW Bush Republican Administration with the outsourcing of jobs. The voice of the Blue collar worker has been drowned out during the Reagan and Bush administrations when the Middle working class almost disappeared into poverty thanks to the trickle down economic policy of Reagan. It is the GW Bush Republican Administration who has given more than 4 bailouts that amounted to around if not more than a trillion when you add them up to Wall Street companies who only produce a lot of hot air and hysteria. But since Obama and the Democrats want to consider, they haven't decided yet, to help the car manufacturing company that at least does produce a real product, everyone especially Republicans cry fowl. Where was that voice when Bush said, "To delay the bail out for American economy is UnPatriotic". Why didn't they disagree with bush with Bail out for Bear Sterns? Or the Second bail out for another financial bank or the third bail out for Leman Brothers? And why smear Obama before he is sworn in as president on January 20 2009?

Well Obama won every other demographic-other than the angry racist vote, so it's not surprising big business goes with him as well. I mean look at the alternative.

Jack, what it means is that big business (and any big contributor who isn't tied to a particular party) is throwing money at the Democrats in hopes of buying influence the way the Republicans operated. I hope the Democrats have more respect for the little people who elected Obama than to be bought by big business.

It appears to me that there are too many 'Americans' that would rather see my goat dead than work hard to get a goat of their own.

These big businesses were not always so big. How do you think that GM, IBM, or Wal-Mart started? They weren't always big. People had to work hard to get these 'big businesses' where they are today. Now they are just as lazy as the peolpe and union workers(where applicable) working for them. Everyone wants something for nothing.

It means that big business has enough money to buy off both parties and the poor working man will have to compete with the third world for a job. People in China will work for thirty cents an hour how long will it be till nothing will be made here? Who will be left to buy what these corporations are bringing into this country? Stop free trade it will destroy our country.
