Why wouldn't Obama pick the smartest people who KNOW HOW to restore the success we had for eight years, left us with our budget in the black, he knows exactly what he's doing and it's time to stop criticizing his choices. Pull together as a nation, we've picked him as our President because we believed he'd do the best for all, he needs everyones full support to make the best choices to do his job.

Whats wrong in choosing something that worked in the past?
I am expecting President Obama to pick experienced people (whose ideas worked well in past) to implement ideas of change for future.

The change that Obama promised is about practices, policies, and procedures, Strong leaders forge this kind of change and people factor in only in how effective they can be in implementing the desired change. Though less complex, when I decided to change my hair color, there was no need to change salons, I just needed to pick the operator in the same salon who was best in this area and who clearly understood what I wanted to see when I looked in the mirror.

After the mid-term they'll all be gone. Barack can deflect repudiations in 2012 that he did not bring change by challenging critics to "look at his staff". I like Hillary and Bill, but I'm nervous at Hillary as Sec. of State. I feel there's way too much undue influence there and this could lead to BIG problems for 2012 if leaks start to occur due to animosity over conflicts in policy.

I think Barack Obama is a very kind, gentleman type of guy.
I think he is overwhelmed by the appointments.
I beleive the Clinton wheel and Democratic Clintonites are forcing him to appoint people prematurely. He is coerced to name people he problably would not appoint. He is very naive and kind and good, and they are forcing him to do these things, because more than the world they want the presidency all over again.

Change back to balanced budgets, economic growth, and respect for America abroad like the Clinton team left. Any coach knows to pick players that have effective records. Change with the ability to deliver. President-elect Obama is showing his wisdom by the day – lets hope he names his treasury secretary soon.

If we take thoughts like these as the only concepts of change then conceivably every 4 to 8 years we do get change. This concept of change is more in ideas, policies and the inner workings of our government. Regardless of who is coming to dinner, they all have to sit and eat at Obama's table...and there's where we will get change...and then some!

It is very simple Jack,the message is "The Clinton years were very good from the economic standpoint and we want and need more of the same".
