They are already enrolled in a private school and the transition would be a little easier from private to private vs private to public. The girls have more than enough to process: moving from state to state, house to house, and making new friends. It's a no brainer to send them to a private school. Americans and Non-Americans can understand the decision of what is in the best interest of the children. Let the people be more involved with choosing a pet for them not their education!!! Even the neighborhood that the school is situated in will be greatly affected. Having said all that, I think it best if the girls attend a private school where perhaps the children of other government officials are enrolled. Those children have had to cope with being uprooted and have experience with adjusting to new situations and having to make new friends at such a young age. No matter which type of school is chosen, the presence of the Obama children will alter the lives of the other students, the teachers and school administrators.
