I would have loved to see her as Attorney General and looking into the Bush years but with the selection of Eric Holder, I see her as Secretary of State or on the Supreme Court. Either would suit her well.

I'd rather see Hilary appointed as Secretary of Defense, with Sen. Daniel Inouye of Hawaii as Homeland Security Secretary. She's strong, but his track record shows he's one smart, tough cookie.

Hillary Clinton for Secretary of State. If she can keep Bill's nose out of her job. She has the ability. Other wise Gen. Colin Powell would be the man.

Actually, the Health,Education,Welfare post would be a better place for her in the cabinet, I believe. However, she probably would be smarter to stay where she is in the Senate. She would be in a better position to get health reform passed if she did that.

She should sit home with her ex-president husband, and just enjoy history being made. She has no place in the Obama administration. She already had her turn, time and time again! (8 years)

Jack, I think Ms. Clinton would better serve herself by staying a Sen.. She has been entrusted by the State of NY by people who respect her decisions alone. I believe things could change quite a bit in 4 yrs. An 8 year term is not a gimme. Any decision by her under the Obama administration would not be totally her own. Tom

Jack, I think the proper role for Sen Clinton in the Obama administration is "spectator".

She's a fine senator, and well poised to be one of the powerhouses of the senate, probably the heir of Ted Kennedy...

But she would only add drama and distraction to the White House.

She hasn't shown herself to be well suited for management, and while she's knowlegeable about many things, there are going to be specialists that are more qualified for any specific position.
