And very big ones! Freeze the bailout funds. Freeze all of the banking channels of those who are assumed to have collected federal money. We need a FBI investigation into where the money slipped off to so far and we need a new Fed chair who doesn't handle money like "Brownie" handled the rescue of New Orleans. No decision should be made on any allotment to ANY company without a congressional approval - perhaps a selected oversite group rather than the whole of congress. We don't need more executive CEO's taking home tax dollars or companies rewarding sales personnel with expensive trips. Had I known this was Paulson's plan, I would have been more active in getting the Congressmen and congresswomen in my state to vote against the bailout. I don't see how this differs from business as usual. I believe this should have been the initial implementation of "change". So you mean to tell me Paulson is just doing what he sees fit with the cash and Congress is not overseeing this. Had I known this was Paulson's plan, I would have been more active in getting the Congressmen and congresswomen in my state to vote against the bailout.
