For a third grandson I recorded the poems of Dylan Thomas, and I'm giving the fourth my copy of Bambi (Felix Salton, not Walt Disney). Money? MONEY? So this is the retirement I waited for? I can't see the government bailing them out, yet the auto industry is the backbone of the US economy. I guess we might as well save them. However, the unions need to think about that pay scale they fight over. Making the kind of money they make they should be enough to more than get by on. People win when their ideas are not clouded. The middle is a disaster area like an airport on the foggiest of days. No one knows where any one is going (McCain). Republicans would do well to resist the carrot of compromise in going to the middle and instead re-entrench in their conservative values for 2012. I for one like too know what I'm buying. The red nation and the blue nation. The red nation would get most of the land mass with the blue nation being very small consisting of the northeast, the west coast and a few islands in the middle including large cities.
