What I don't understand is how those who supported Hillary are opposed to Obama when the difference between the Obama platform and McCain's platform is like night and day. Obama and Hillary were very close in how they want to serve the American people. So, it must be because Obama is black----------I hate to inject race, but that is the only thing that I can see. This country really needs a new direction and it would be nice if we could join hands. Obama has my vote!!! If Obama wants me to vote for him in the future he can say he is going to stay in the Senate for another couple terms and actually develop a record....or run for Governor of Illinois to get some legitimate executive experience...or take an "Intro to Macroeconomics" course at a local community college where he can learn that, while increasing taxes on the "rich" sounds good as a populist talking point, it tends to reduce federal revenue overall. I'm not asking him to become so familiar with macroeconomic principles and their impact on microeconomic behavior that he can afford seven houses. But I expect him to learn the basics. The only way I would consider voting for Obama THIS year is if he says he and Joe Biden are going to switch places on the ticket.
