Perhaps these advisers wish to avoid the spectacle in the stadium – the Berlin speech didn't work at all and neither will this. People out in TV Land will see it as nothing more than the culmination of the year and a half of shameless star-creation by the media and the DNC, and many will really be turned off. The biggest production yet, for the least qualified nominee ever. I suppose there is symmetry in there, somewhere.

That Hillary, Bill and their crew are still hoping Sen. Well Jack, I was playing Nintendo Wii with my 8 years old nephew last week and he was always happy and cheering for me to get bad results in every contests. I was getting frustrated and I had to explain to him what was anti-sportsmanship. It was the first time he had heard of that but he eventually got the point. People have to learn to be good winners and also good losers. When children are not taught that when they are young, they grow up to become bad losers in their adult life. I think it only highlight the fact that some parents did not do their job right on that point while raising their childrens. They are simply bad losers, that's all.

It just confirms that the bitterness has not waned and the Hillary people would rather derail Obama than support him.

Its time for Clinton's supporters to acknowledge that their candidate lost and move on. It is understandable that they are disappointed but in refusing to support Obama, or worse yet voting for McCain, in the general election, they are being childish and vindictive. Almost everyone agreed during the primaries that there wasn't much substantive difference in the platforms of the two democratic candidates; so if these people throw their support behind McCain, they weren't very committed to the issues - they just wanted a woman in the Whitehouse and are throwing a tantrum because they didn't get their way.

It just shows the depth of contempt that Hillary and her aids have for Obama. He didn't steal anything away from her. These people need to grow up, get over it and get real. If they intend to vote for McCain rather than Obama, because Hillary is not the nominee, then they were only voting for her because she was a woman and not because they believed she was the right person for the job. If they vote for McCain and he wins, we had better not hear any of them moaning and groaning about how bad things are.

To all the frustrated Obama supporters like me, who are certainly feeling ignored by the media and insulted by these fake democrats who call themselves Hillary’s supporters, who either venerate Hillary or are too blind to see what’s at stake, I say: Obama went through a lot worse, but if he got here while you are still trying to accept defeat, it’s because he chose the high road and I urge you to find out more about what that really means. This tactic by the partisan repugnant republicans at roger ales fixed news station is designed to give the impression that the white convention goers are not happy with Barak and the black people in the audience are overly happy, thus propagating the disunity myth.
6% of Clinton Delegates at the convention said they were still disappointed and that doesnt sound like disunity to me.
why the Dems would let fox control all of the images coming out of the convention is beyond me, i mean it was roger ales that invented the southern strategy for nixon so now he is creating the myth of disunity with his cut aways and images.

Jack, nothing explains this behavior than the presence of apathy and the absence of party discipline among top democrats. Its beyond my imagination that these democrats cannot understand simple democratic theory. Would they have expected the numerous Barack supporters to grace the occasion with Hilary if indeed she was the nominee? What happened to the Golden Rule? I think if in fact, democrats want to win the White House this time, then it is incumbent on them to support Barack till the end. People should do basic comparative analysis of the post and pre primaries policies of these candidate to see the similarities of Obam and Clintons idea of democratic governance and stop quacking. I am very saddened that Democrats are playing political games when in fact they have a good chance of winning the white house.

As you mentioned many times during the primary race, Hilliary and her crew felt this would be over on Super Tuesday. There is no doubt many had jobs and cash plans so the wounds are deep, real deep and both Bill and Hillary may never get over it.

Clinton advisers may sound like sore losers, but in fact they are being very civil considering how their candidate has been treated all through the primary. Barack Obama has done some pretty ugly things. Like hiring Hillary's fired campaign adviser to be the person who would work with his choice for VP. Then Hillary was not even on the shortlist for VP although he told the world that she would be on anybody's shortlist. When it may have made a difference, Barack would not agree to Florida's and Michigan's vote being counted anyway except partially. Now Barack wants to count all the votes from Florida and Michigan; surprise! surprise! And then there's how the media claimed Barack didn't go negative..Give me a break. He just did it by publishing brochures that stated untruths about Hillary's plan for healthcare. Yep, the advisers that have the stomach to stay in Denver and hear the acceptance speech are to be commended for their loyalty to the Democratic Party because I'm sure it's not admiration for Barack Obama.

Jack, will you guys PLEASE stop with all this. You guys are on the spin cycle with this issue. Has it dawned on you that the media is keeping this one going? The Clinton aides are sending a message which only adds fuel to the fire that rages within the minds and are hearts of those die-hard Clinton supporters. The media isn’t helping the healing process either when they keep reporting this rift; it only serves to validate the opinions of these Clinton supporters. They refuse to accept defeat and would prefer to be small-minded, selfish, narcissistic individuals who only care about a candidate and not the country. The only message it sends to me is that they are understandably exhausted, can't do any more for Hillary and are lucky to get out early. I won't be surprised or hurt if Bill and Hillary leave after tomorrow. It's up to Obama and Biden now.

It tells me that the Democrats made a tactical error in getting Obama as their nominee instead of Hillary. Compounding that error, was Obama's strategic error in naming Joe Biden his running mate rather than Hillary.

I am appalled and utterly dismayed at the childish behavior of some of the Hillary Delegates who would even remotely suggest that they would vote for John McCain because Hillary did not get the nomination. and unit all, if within the democratic there is tension, and
division? The issue that is really important, according to the national
records 70% of children born in the African American community today
are born in a single parent home(mom of course). And with-in this

Obama and his campaign have hardly been gracious to her, and yet they exspect so much from Hillary. This is another example of his weakness. Hillary is not running for President and she has accepted that. If her campaign managers feel they must leave when the party needs them the most then we will remember this selfish action four years from now. Hillary does not have nearly the qualifications that Biden has and that is what picking a V.P. is all about. When Barack was making his V.P. decision it was for our countries safety and well being and the ability to run against McCain, not Hillary.

This matches Hillary's behavior of polarization. One wonders if she will have the same campaign staff next time she runs for President.

Clinton's advisers skipping out on Obama's acceptance speech looks like they are sore losers. The only people they should take their anger out on is themselves for they did not do their jobs by getting Hillary the nomination.

It sends the massage that they have something else to do. They support Obama but there are more than 4000 people there. It is unreasonable to assume that every single one of them would be able to totally free up their scheduals to be at every speach.

Having been a Clinton supporter for many, many years, I finally see what it is about the Clintons that people hate. I never could see their ruthlessness and just figured that I'd vote for her in 2012 or 2016. But her ego is out of control. What a poor loser. Her henchmen now admit that their strategy in the primary campaign against Obama was to portray him,..."as though he was not an American" . Despicable. She could stop these idiots making this fuss in Denver at any time.
She has hurt Obama, by giving Fox News all the fodder they need .

There is nothing she can say in her speech to change my mind. I know that there are others who were strong supporters of her, like me, who see this and now will NEVER cast a vote , at any time in the future for Hillary Clinton.

It is unbelievable to me that these faux progressives are willing to play this stupid, selfish game with the lives of our servicemen, the prospect of 3 more conservative justices appointed to the high court, and a host of other disasters that a McCain victory will bring. If these are the people that Sen. Clinton surrounded herself with, then I'll consider the fears I have always had about the Clintons and their posse putting themselves ahead of America. If McCain wins this thing, we can point directly at Hillary.

Surely the Democratic Convention didn't sneak up on these advisors! Their failure to attend Obama's acceptance speech is gasoline for the media to build up the tension in the "Democratic Story" and an indication that they received inadequate parenting when it comes to being a good sport.

Sadly you can not please every one all of the time. I pray that the democrats come together and support this man. I could not be more impressed! What a president he would make!! I hope the United States majority do not miss out on the opportunity of having a real leader with a real, genuine love and concern for all. I have never seen such a bright, compassionate, well tempered and charismatic leader in my life. Why is it that the people of United States can not see what every one in every other country across the world can see?

Some of Hillary's supporters are leaving because they have lost their focus. They wanted her to be the nominee more than they want a better America. Furthermore like Hillary they refuse to accept Sen Obama as the people's choice. This election isn't about Sen. Obama nor Sen. Clinton but it's time for Democrats to unite and change the direction the country has been going the last eight years.

You can't have it both ways, Obama supporters keep saying the Clintons need to go away, it was said by you, Jack, just yesterday and now everyone has a problem with them leaving.
