To any of the 18 million clinton voters that would switch sides or just stay home if she's not on the VP ticket needs to understand clearly that this is about rebuilding this country not her political ambitions. If she's not willing to concede an obvious victory to obama and continues to be bullish about it,which is taking away from the democratic party job at hand do you really think it'll get any better IF she get to white house.

Jack, I think Obama should send Clinton to her room with no dessert! I lost so much respect for her by the way she ran her campaign--the disorganization, inconsistent messages, dirty politics, and the list goes on. If Clinton wants to be respected, she should learn to earn it. She had a perfect opportunity on Tuesday night to win the respect and admiration of the entire world, yet she chose to make the night about Hillary and then attempt to bully for the VP spot. She's too egotistical to be on an Obama ticket.

I am aware of many Republicans who will vote for Obama versus McCain as long as Obama does not incude Clinton on the ticket. It would be a huge liability to the Party to offer Clinton as the VP candidate as she is such a powerful lightening rod taking focus off of Obama and his agenda. Her voters are not likely to move to McCain so what has the Democratic Party gained with her as his running mate? Can anyone believe that Clinton can be second fiddle to anyone? Can you imagine that she will be content with anything less than being "co-president"? It would be a collosal mistake. Obama should not fold and take on a running mate of his choice that will not chase voters away.

There is a lot of emotion right now among the Democratic ranks especially in the Hillary camp and with her supporters.

However, by the end of summer I think a lot of that will have died down and people will have already focused intently on the two Presidential candidates.

We don't hear that much about Romney, Edwards or Huckabee anymore, let alone Giuliani, Thompson and Paul.

I think Barack Obama should forget about a so-called "dream ticket" and select a running mate that will compliment him and shore up his weaknesses and give hope to the voters that they'll reverse the irresponsible foreign policy and fiscal inadequecies of the past 8 years.

By the end of summer, many Hillary supporters will see the big picture and vote more with their minds and less with their emotions.

Policy wise Hillary and Barack compliment each other, but I think many people will view the selection of Hillary as VP as a compromise in Obama's principles.

Obama needs a VP that will support him in the WH. Hillary want's to be president and has not accepted her loss graciously. The Clinton camp is now trying to force his hand with their take her or else attitude. She said she wants to unite the party, the time for her to start the healing process was Tuesday night.

I'm a middle class white 58 year old female and she didn't get my vote. Her attitude during last nights speech is just one of the reasons why!

They showed a commercial from the Republicans using Hilary's speech when she was supporting John McCain and saying that Obama only had speeches.

And you think she should be on the ticket. I am sure all the cable news stations, especially FOX, is going to show this ad over and over and over again.

This is really a blow to the democratic party.
