I wanted Barack Obama to run for president ever since the speech in 2004, however I felt Hillary would have been a good choice too. I always defended her and President Clinton. That has changed dramatically due to their behavior during this campaign. I will be hardpressed to vote for her should she get the nomination. She seems to have returned to her Repiblican roots. Mind you, I have voted in every election since 1968.

Jack, I couldn't stand Clinton from the beginning and now I can't stomach her. I couldn't stand McCain from 2004, and I still can't. I didn't like Obama at the beginning and now, I like him OK, but not sure I trust him. As a 60 yr. old white life-long republican woman, for the first time in my life, I probably won't cast a presidential vote this year. The choices are too depressing!

Yes, I am very disappointed of BARACK OBAMA. Now I see him as just another politician hungry for power.
HILLARY CLINTON has more lives than a cat!!!! What a warrior. I truly admire her for this and for being the most prepared of the candidates.

Yes my perception of Hillary as the possible first women president has changed.
I see her now as a woman who believes that acting like a woman is somehow inappropriate. She continues to tout here "testicularness"
What is wrong with being a strong woman that doesn't have to be brash and loud.? She should be able to get her message across without making you feel like you have been upbraided by your boss.
The other issue with her is that she is dishonest, be it by "misspeaking, misunderstanding, sneakiness or just plain lying.
She does it and she does it so well she scares me.

I am liking Hillary less and less as the campaigns go on. These last months have certainly been hard fought, but her tactics give the appearance of being over the edge. I feel that Barack will be the best choice for us.

I think Hillary has gotten a lot more hawkish, under-handed, and very Rovian. It looks like she has made a deal with the Republicans to abuse Obama so bad that he'll lose against McCain in '08 so that she can challenge in '12. McCain will only serve 1 term. That has already been planned out. She's making this WAY too obvious!

Why didn't you give McCain's numbers? My impressions of both men haven't changed – I think McCain is too old and too much GOP baggage, I think Obama represents hope and change. I didn't totally dislike Hillary before but now I see her as doing anything to get the nomination. I will never vote for her.

As a so-called "elitist" from San Francisco, I am deeply offended by both McCain and Clinton's statements that my views and political opinions are out of touch and not as valuable as those held by middle America. I am proud to be represented in this election by Barack Obama and hope he continues to run a campaign that brings Americans together as opposed to dividing and alienating us from each other.

When the race started, I liked Hillary and would have voted for her but her negativity has turned me off and I now find Obama more favorable.
