For all of his being a Republican maverick, he has shifted his position enough to look like "more Bush". The maverick has been mostly tamed now. He can't win against anyone but his ol' pal, Hillery. He has sold out all of his so-called "maverick" values for a few votes. Anyone who seeks out the endorsement of John Hagee is just an opportunist pandering for the religious right for votes. Ironically he was in New Orleans for his latest photo op, anyone remember what Hagee said about New Orleans and Katrina? That doesn't say much for McCain's judgement now does it? It's really a shame that in his tour of the United States he can't see the middle class people and the struggle to live in our United States as the Bush Administration has made it. He is is in a lull before the Presidential Campaign begins. It would do him well to spend more time recognizing how bad it really is in the United States. Perhaps he could tour the Mexican Borders and learn something about what he could do "heaven forbid" if he were elected.
