Age in Washington is a completely DIFFERENT liability, however...and John McCain's time in Washington has crippled his ability to fundamentally CHANGE the way he and hundreds of other "lifers" have been running this country. Every reporter by his side says he is the most accessible and energetic. Perhaps, because he has a daughter younger than Chelsea Clinton. He also has children that are young adults in their thirties. He knows what young people want and also has the wisdom of life experiences. He seems so much more rational on issues that the other two who are fighting all the time.
