Our country has serious problems and our citizens need better information from prospective leaders about their positions and plans to address the problems. I’ve considered Ms. Clinton’s campaign to be in trouble since learning three things:

(1) Republican strategists WANT her to run. It will get their base out to vote.

(2) Other candidates, while not necessarily out-performing her in terms of total financial contributions, were getting more individual small donations. That speaks to her actual popularity among her own party.

(3) Ms. Clinton has consistently been the media’s choice because conflict sells.

There appears to be a national swing in the electorate in the direction of Obama. Is it terminal for Sen Clinton, no. Should it be a concern for Sen Clinton, I would think so. It represents about a 30% swing in the favor of Obama over previous polls that I’ve seen. The past few primary results tend to reflect this change.

Her campaign has been in trouble before IOWA. Since then, she seems to trouble manage her fall. The thing JAck is that she has no vision, or she doesn’t communicate one. Therefore, it’s easier to follow Obama with his clear statement: Change. She had a good start a year ago with “Having a conversation with Americains” But she never developed it and didn’t make it clear to people what she had in mind with that. When she cried and became more genuine in New Hempshire, she brought that up a bit.

Is Hillary in trouble? Maybe not. She still has more of the super delegates. If it comes down to the super delegates and the party insiders, Hillary will win.

What would we think if Michelle Obama decided to run for President after her husband’s eight years in the White House. Hillary still has a chance to do well in Texas, Ohio, and Pennsylvania which I hope she does because she is more qualified to be President than Barack Obama. I think it was a good idea for Hillary to get new people in her campaign, maybe someone will advise her to ask Obama what the media has given him a free pass on which is the subject of Iran and how in 2004 Obama called for missile strikes against Iran and now he is wrongly being passed off as the anti-war candidate. I do think Hillary’s campaign will improve with new people in there despite the fact that most of the media has been bias against her and in favor of Obama. Hillary’s new campaign also needs to point out if Obama were to get the nomination the Republicans would have a field day tearing him apart on the National Security issue of his lack of experience which is something they can’t do to Hillary. If Democrats give Obama the nomination it will show that they have learned nothing from the 2004 election and deserve to lose again.

She has reorganized her campaign twice now…once after New Hampshire and yet again That’s got to be embarrassing to someone with all that “experience”. Someone who has been preparing for this campaign since before Bill left office.

Senator Clinton is not really doing anything wrong, and she seems to have a lot of poise. She has a lot of delegates, she knows how to campaign, she has some money. But Senator Obama may turn out to be Secretariat. The success of John McCain is probably helping his campaign as well. The Obama campaign could turn into a “movement’ and if so, Senator Clinton will be swept aside.

You can see a lot of people waking up and smelling the roses as time goes by and they get more opportunities to what know Barack Obama and the lovely Michelle are about. They are thinking, “Wow! Somehow people have forgotten that for the first 2 years of this war in Iraq, Hillary took up pandering to neoconservatives by promoting not only the Iraq war, but a policy of continuous aggression and this ‘war on terror’. At the time both Bush and his Iraq War were popular amongst many Americans, and she felt that in order for her to be a viable candidate down the line, she’d have to sing the same song pro-war conservatives did at the time. Today she claims that she mistakenly voted for something that turned out to be a war, and is marketing herself as the solution to all that Bush was and is. You have archives of her positions on American foreign policy, on her many speeches supporting the war, and how she disappointed many liberals by promoting a policy that was low on diplomacy and high on aggression. Why isn’t all that being brought up?

Michael Moore recently said that as a moral matter (contrary to Conservative spin, Democrats do have values too) he cannot vote for Hilary for precisely this reason. I don’t agree with everything Moore says, but on this I agree totally, as do many who have seen Obama and Edwards as sincere alternatives to someone who expresses beliefs (genuine or orchestrated, who knows) to prove herself a viable candidate. We find Hillary untrustworthy, and some of us find her earlier position on the war to have been immoral, and that sentiment cannot be changed by any shuffling her her campaign machinery.

It was always in trouble Jack. If I’ve said it once I’ve said it a 1,000 times, Sen. Clinton should never had run for President.

She’s on the Titanic & going down with the ship. If Obama was white she wouldn’t have hired an African-American to replace her campaign manager. If she was such a close friend then why was she given the job already. She just copies what Obama says & claims she said it first. For all her so-called experience, she has no idea how to run her own campaign, then how can she run the country.

Ohio and Texas are big bulwarks for her, from what the media has been telling me. She’s still the frontrunner, according to the media (especially CNN, not so much MSNBC). Every win for her is expected; every loss is a crushing blow. Now that Obama’s won more states, delegates, and votes (even though Clinton’s camp is making the same claim), it’s time to look at the two remaining Democratic contenders on an even playing field, because there is no frontrunner in this race. He’s got the movement, and she’s got the DNC. And the idea of “momentum” to me is baffling in 2008. Nobody in any state is presuming anything this time around. There is no such thing as momentum right now.

So my short answer is no, of course not. Her campaign is fine. His campaign is doing pretty well too. In the end, the electability issue will be what decides the race. And I think the choice there is pretty clear.

Judging from the personnel shake-up and Hillary’s remarks today discounting the validity of caucus voters, I would say her campaign is in more trouble than she would like to admit. It has the look and sounds of desperation when Hillary points out that Obama won in Louisiana only because of the black vote…yet another Jessie Jackson type remark. Yes, I think Hillary Clinton’s campaign is in trouble? I believe voters are finally seeing that she is more of the same. Her deal making and strategic moves to get into the White House started the day she left as First Lady and I’m sure she did not foresee being in this position. I was offended by her remarks regarding Obama’s sweep this weekend (she said it was due to the large number of African Americans). Although she used additional wording with this statement to hopefully avoid offending anyone; we got her message! Will the politicians and the press STOP focusing so much on how many African Americans, highly educated young people and women vote for whom every time there is a primary? Yes, Hillary’s campaign is in trouble…has been since Iowa. She needed to find “her voice,” before she ran for POTUS, and even if she came upon it late, it sure sounded a lot like Bill’s voice, Mark Penn’s voice, etc. Authenticity is what she seems to lack (hence the daily campaign theme and sales pitch changes) and I think this election year the American people just need to believe in what they perceive as real–not just about our leaders, but ourselves.

In an article in the Las Vegas Sun on Sunday 2/10/08, it talks about how Obama will find the heat turned up when the spotlight gets turned on him. It goes on to say that the New York Times had an article that higlighted a stump speech that Obama had in Iowa where he claimed to have passed a bill regulating nuclear power plants. When in fact the bill was never passed. It went on to say that Obama participated in negotiations that watered down the measures to the point of meaninglessness. It also stated that Mr Obama took hundreds of thousands of dollars in campaign contirbutions from a company executives and employees called Exelon. According to their own web site, Exelon is the largest nuclear power provider in the nation. Why is it that things like this are not out there in the media. Could it be that the media is somewhat bias towards the Clintons.

I think she is at the very least starting to feel the pressure. Any time a candidate has to tap into their own funds is a singal. Obama is also winning states by wide margins. Now the Clinton Camp is talking about waiting it out until March 4th while Obama eats up the rest of the Feb votes. Seems to me that, that stratagy was the same one that cost another New Yorker the White House not that long ago. Maybe She should talk to Rudy about how wise sitting it out is.

Before you and the rest of the media rush to bury the Hillary campaign you may want to be certain that the body is cold. As Mike Huckabee has proven on the Republican side, just because you are the presumptive nominee doesn’t mean those that support your opponent are going to throw up their arms and wave the white flag. Senator Clinton will win Texas, Ohio and Pennsylvania, and don’t forget that the DNC has no choice but to figure out a way to seat delegate slates from here in Florida as well as Michigan. As I recall, both chose Clinton over Obama in the primaries that have now become known as beauty contests. There is no reason to believe that caucuses or do over primaries in these two states will alter the original results. And if Senator Obama is the nominee and the DNC fails to support seating the Michigan and Florida delegate slates the democrats can kiss both states goodbye. Disenchanted conservatives have nothing over disenfranchised democrats. So the simple answer to your question is that Hillary Clinton’s campaign is just fine.

I sincerely hope this is the last time we ever hear of super delegate election shenanigans. Cut them down to 50 votes, one for each state. In fact, no super delegates are even necessary. Just record who won the state. 1 state, 1 vote. Words fail me for describing the obscenity of this power grabbing scam by the DNC. And for Florida and Michigan, just cut the delegate vote to half for each.
There’s major trouble brewing for the mucky mucks of the DNC from the younger voters if they don’t knock off this obsession with controlling voters. .

More importantly, if she was such a good executive why does she have repetitive problems of mismanagement – travelgate, failed healthcare reform, overspending for her campaign. She has experience, but not good experience. We better hope there are no Katrina’s to mismanage if she were elected.

Hillary Clinton thought she was going to be coronated the Democratic nominee. Now she’s got a fight on her hands. If I have to hear Clinton say “ready to be President on day one” one more time I’m gonna puck. By her logic Bill Clinton was unqualified to be President because he had no previous presidential experience. Bill Clinton picked it up quickly, Barack Obama can too.

Depends on what you mean by “trouble”. I personally don’t think do. But then again, I need both of these candidates to back up their talk of uniting the country by uniting themselves! Each of them speaks of the need to “reach across isles” and get this country back on the path of greatness. Let’s see a demonstration of it right here in the Democratic Party. I favor Barack Obama, but would vote for Hillary if she is the party representative. Hilary’s campaign is beginning to indeed crack. With every passing day, Obama seems to be eating away at her lead. Obama is outspending her in the media….which helps to persuade the undecided voters who haven’t already been reached by Obama’s strong local organization. Simply put…Obama inspires so many people who have been turned off by the same old Democrat party “rubber stamp” candidate…aka Hilary.

By all indications, yes. America is engaged.

George Bush endorsed Clinton over Obama this weekend. If her campaign wasn’t in trouble, it is now.

Yes, it is clear she doesn’t have the backing of the common citizen. At this point, if Hillary gets the nomination by a margin composed of super delegates, we will see all the zeal that has accumulated during this process change into permanent cynicism for politics from this generation of voters.

For sure Hillary Clinton’s campaign is in big big .. trouble. Changes are being made in her camp for a reason: The Primary season is not going as planned! Let’s not casually forget that her team thought she would have this nomination wrapped up by Super Tuesday . The people’s support for Barack Obama is amazing and Ms. Clinton’s hope for wins in Texas, Ohio, and Pennsylvania may be wishful thinking.

Her campaign is in serious trouble. When you have to loan yourself $5 million, and fire your campaign manager after Super Tuesday, you know you’re falling behind; and she does. It’s nice that this time she has not started attacking Obama with negative ads, at least not yet. Furthermore, it is a bit ridiculous for her to say that Obama’s supporters [in the caucuses] are just “activists” and that they don’t represent the electorate. Hey Hillary, Obama supporters are passionate, and your supporters aren’t. That’s what you get with the young people’s vote compared to get mostly the older adults’ vote. We have more energy and enthusiasm, deal with it!

It’s not that her campaign is in trouble but the trouble we would be in if she is elected. All her pro claimed experience does not seem to have served her well with who she has selected to manage and run her campaign.

Seems Obama has better judgment in selecting people to run and manage his campaign. I’ll take good judgment over experience any day. After all it has been poor and bad judgment that has our country where it is today.

Yes, her campaign is in trouble. By this time she had expected to annointed the nominee, notwithstanding any potential rivals. As such, she didn’t plan for a vigorous, protracted battle for the nomination.
Her campaign was awash in money from big donors and the ‘Shock and Awe’ of the Obama phenomena.
Unfortunately, this will continue will the medias constant coverage of the Obama campaign which I’m getting tired of watching.

Yes it is……….and they can thank dirty politics for it. South Carolina was when things really started to crumble. The below the belt tactics back-fired and now they are scrambling to recover. The problem is, they don’t know how to play fair.

Hillary has facts and ideas. That is what makes a good president. Remember in 2000 the media made the hype for George Bush by saying “Who is the candidate you would most like to go have a beer with”. Well look where that has gotten us!

Please look into the ideas of EACH candidate fairly and accurately and hold them accountable for what and why they say what they say and do!

I think if you do that then no Hillary’s campaign is just fine.

As much as I admire Hillary and would welcome a woman as President, one of her main contentions is that she is more electable than Barack. Since all the polls suggest the Barack beats McCain most handily, I’ve got to say she is in trouble. Also, the fact that she depends so heavily on campaign contributions from big business and special interest groups, while Obama relies solely on small donations from individuals, is another reason that she can’t sell herself as an agent of change from politics as usual.

Sure she is in trouble. She’s gone from a coronation campaign where her campaign (and the media pundits) crowned her as the victor even before the first primaries (way to show her support for the act of voting), to now dissing caucus-system voting (way to go if you hope to do well in those states in the general election), to breaking her promises to voters in New Hampshire, the DNC and the other candidates by now wanting Michigan and Florida delegates counted, and finally to hoping that the superdelegates will rescue her.

But her campaign’s evident troubles are dwarfed by those of the Democratic Party: will it manage to grasp self-destruction from the jaws of victory by using superdelegates to go against the party’s base and award Hillary the crown even if she does not carry a majority of pledged delegates? If that happens the Democratic Party will self-destruct and deservedly so.

Maybe the rhetorical question would be more pertinant: Is everybody else out of trouble?

Simply Yes. She said that she found her voice in NH but seems to have lost it again. Her crawling in the gutter with Obama in the SC debate ( Chicago slum lord issue) showed her to be not presidential. She has failed to make her case it is tragic because Obama is an empty shell – a man who says his judgment on the Iraq is superior to every one else’s but never offered an alternative. In his foreign policy statements he talks of ordering troops into Pakistan. It is a critical time for America and it seems we are now going from the frying pan into the fire. Bush’s inexperience made him a executor of the neo-cons game plan , and wait for action replay with President Obama becomes the executor of with his advisor’s – the neo-libs.

I think she is in trouble. I have been following the election from the very start and I have watched her pick up on Obama’s message and she has changed his slogans just a bit to match her campaign. Instead of Yes we can! she has Yes she can! I believe Hillary thought she would walk away with the nomination and now she has a fight on her hands. It really doesn’t matter how many people you fire or “switch” around Senator Obama has a message that is resonating with voters and even though he seems to have got a late start he is gaining momentum. She can downplay and use political speak all she wants but she can’t fight a movement. It’s too bad she seems to be struggling with her feelings of entitlement. You know Bush Clinton Bush Clinton. Looks like a scrappy little campaign has stepped into the way of the Clinton Machine!

How can any of us really know what’s going on within her campaign? I support Obama, but think this is an unfair question, Jack. I imagine they’ve tried to hold off making this major change in her campaign because they didn’t want the media to broadcast this exact kind of headline, this insinuation of her ship sinking. It may be more damaging than the internal changes themselves.

I intend to vote for Hillary because it may be the only opportunity in my lifetime I get to vote for a woman. I think of my mother who died 75 years old and with a fourth grade education and had more sense than most of the voters today. I don’t blame President Bush, he did the best he could with what he had. I blame the voters. Who cares if you are a Republican or Democrate or Christian or Liberal or Conservative. Be a human, use a brain. Vote for your best choice, you’ll have to live with it.

This is exactly what the Republicans want. They would rather face Obama than Hillary in the general election. The Democrats need to come down off the clouds and face reality.

She’s in trouble with the money. She needs to find someone better to raise money.

Don’t count out the Clinton’s yet. They are the most skilled politicians of our time. The Clinton name is a known brand in America and unfortunately there are a lot of older women who will remember the ’90’s with fondness and are delighted to see a woman in the whitehouse in their lifetime. I’m not one of them. I’m 62, female and a volunteer/supporter of Barack Obama.

The more the Clintons swiftboat Obama, they are digging their own grave. He may have the momentum right now, but there are lots of states to go. You never know, the older voter has been reliable in getting to the polls. Some woman are coming over to Obama’s side as he becomes known.

We’re not taking anything for granted. Full speed ahead, Yes We Can!
We’ll have to wait and see … we cannot do otherwise.

I think it’s way to early for anyone to say her campaign is in trouble! However, I find it totally amazing to hear various individuals say they voted for Obama simply because he’s a nice guy. Wow!! My God our country is in serious serious trouble. To vote in an individual simply because they’re consider likeable is totally INSANE!! Jack, I believe that the Clinton camp is riding the rollercoaster that every-other candidate is on. You are going to lose and win events. The media seems that really want to sale this, these are events that weeks ago the Clinto camp said Obama would win, the money for the Clinto camp is rolling in, it just isn’t getting covered by the press, and we know why because it is Hillary and it is positive. The switch at the top , who cares. Most voters don’t , but the media does. Lets get back to issues, lets get away from killing her camp.

The fact that the question is being asked by CNN confirms that the Clinton campaign is in BIG trouble.

But she’s not only in trouble because of the recent campaign shakeup. She’s in trouble because, early in her campaign, she refused to answer questions, while Obama answered every single question. She’s in trouble because early on she was ‘playing’ politics, and dirty politics at that. She’s in troulble because of her arrogance, strutting around as if she had the nominee wrapped up. She’ in trouble because her husband didn’t know when to shut up. She’s in trouble because she is dishonest and the American people are fed up with dishonest politicians. She’s in trouble because she has too much political baggage.

Bottom line, she is not the right woman for the job as President

Of course Hillary’s campaign is in trouble! First she is not a likable,warm, fuzzy person. She’s tough and abrasive! Second she couldn’t control Bill any better now than she could for their entire marriage. Third she wasn’t as rich as we were lead to believe. And where is her last Income Tax Return? Now besides getting $5 million more in change; she has people working for free and her Campaign Staff had to be remodeled. All bad signs! Of course behind the scenes people are just afraid of putting Bill back in the Whitehouse. He was impeached, remember, for his lying under oath and his affair with Monica Lewinsky under the desk in the oval office.Remember we as a country freed the slaves before we gave women the right to vote! People have a long memory when it comes to their government. I predict that Obama will be elected.

Why shouldnt Hillary down play this Obama win. Clinton is ahead of Obama by 594,577 popular votes in primaries. Obama has received on 332,257 votes in these ridiculous and unfair caucus states. Give me a break. Clinton will pick up pledged delegates and has always been ahead in super delegates.

Hillary is definitely in trouble mostly because nobody really knows where she stands on any position at all. She is very adept at avoiding any direct answer and will say anything to anyone just to try to get their vote. The candidate will probably be selected by the super-delegates. Since the president is elected by the electoral college and the people have nothing to say about it anyway I don’t see what all the fuss is about. Until the people of this country are allowed to actually choose their president the whole process is a fraud anyway.

This really reminds me of what happened in N.H. when the media was ready to throw Hillary to the dogs and give Obama the victory ride around the U.S.. The Clinton camp is fine there have been wins and loses, but the voters care about issues, we care about substance. Not the change with-in the Clinto camp, so there is someone else running the show, who cares, the other lady is still there and very active. The media through-out this has loved to pick Hillary apart and it hasn’t stopped. They knew weeks ago that these events fit more into Obama’s camp, but once agian just like N.H. it’s not over at all.

Are you kidding? Hillary’s campaign was in trouble since Iowa. The problem is that, she didn’t see Obama coming. The primaries were supposed to be a cake walk for her. As it stands now, Obama has been stealing her thunder, along with half of her delegates. He’s still a rock star candidate, and she has become an old lady with a lot of baggage, or “bag lady” for short.

Hillary is still smiling, how can she be in trouble? First she would win if she has more votes. Then she would win if she has more delegates. If that doesn’ t work she would win if she has more Superdelegates. The only way she can lose if she drops out. The fix was in a long time ago. I’m afraid so. Though they don’t differ much on the issues, she represents politics as usual and I think America is ready for something new. It’s exciting to know a woman or black man will be the democratic candidate, but sad to know only one will make it.

NO! Her campaign is not in trouble. Last I saw she was still ahead in delegates and last I heard that meant you were winning. I wish someone would talk about the huge task that she has being a woman and running for the white house. I’d admire her for that. Yes. Sen. Clinton’s campaign is in trouble. Her first trouble was allowing Bill Clinton to campaign for her…. and she didn’t learn… allowing him to make even more recent divisive comments.

Hillary’s campaign is right on track. If the Florida, and Michigan delegates are factored in, she has a nice lead in the delegate count. Barack has been chalking up the red states, and Hillary is slam dunking the blue states. Looks like democrats like Hillary.
