The Clintons and he had a fall-out. Clinotn's behavior in the Whitehouse with Monica and the impeachment made Gore look bad and the Democratic party lost in the electoral college eventhough Gore won the popular vote. Hillary Clinton and Al Gore often had differences during the 8 yrs. in Washington. Bill Clinton blamed Gore for losing because he didn't let Bill take an active role in his campaign. Gore pointing fingers back at the Clintons. In short I don't think Al Gore will get behind the Clintons now but I wouldn't at all be surprised if senator Obama asked the Nobel Peace Prize winner to run as his Vice Presidential candidate or serve in his cabinet in the Department of Energy to try to reduce global warming in a very real way... I think Al Gore may join Senator Kennedy, and Senator Kerry in endorsing Obama for President. The big questions is when former Senator John Edwards will pull-out of the race and if he'll chose to endorse Obama for President. Edwards has also run on a campaign of change and took a lot of negative hits from the Clinton campaign. He's not likely to endorse Hillary Clinton after all that negativity... I wonder if in November we'll see a McCain/Romney ticket vs. Obama/Gore? Time will tell. We're living through a most incredible period of time in our history... The torch has been passed to the next generation of Americans...
