Jack,
I'm a former teacher- now a stay at home mom. Your commentaries are often the highlight of my day. I am so sorry for your loss. Your memoirs about your wife are touching yet frank. Thank you for the questions, insights and candor. Sympathies and healing to you and your family.

Gore should enter and ask John Edwards to be Vice President and put Bloomberg in as Secreatry of the Treasury, and Obama as Secretary of State, Hilary should stay in the Senate to push Congress along and appoint Bill Clinton and Mario Cuomo and Anita Hill to the Supreme Court.

If the news media is complaining about dynasties we have to remeber that Al Gore is part of the so called "old dynasty" and of the old guard as Ted Kennedy. Seeing Obama sitting with Ted Kennedy at Bush's National Address didn't make me think of CHANGE but the SAME OLD SAME OLD! Obama goes around with this phony ballony veneer. He would do anything to get elected.

No Gore should stay out. What everybody is forgetting is Edwards. He does not stand a chance. Yet, comes convention time he have enough delegates to tip the scales. I am sure he already knows who he will support. In the SC debate he gave some hints.
Maybe we will see more on Thursday.

Wow Al Gore In?

I think the only other person more qualified than Hillary would be Al Gore.

I’m all for the Woman from New York or the Man With The Nobel Prize and The Oscar

As we watch the party fracture and splinter itself and we watch Washington Change Obama, within seconds, the same Washington Obama said he would change, we need a reality check and a bit of super glue to restore this party to sanity. It only Took a Kennedy to Make Obama now officially part of the Old Washington he so eloquently preaches about changing. Guess that coin got flipped. Looks like Obama got changed by the Old Washington. My, My How fast things change.

Its a necessity to have diversity, its wonderful to have hope, its necessary to dream the great American dream, but " We the people" know how to dream. We know how to make it happen, we need a leader qualified to lead us and bring us together with a reality check list. Fix the economy, repair our relations with other nations, bring about Healthcare reform, protect the nation, and bring about jobs and PLEASE BEAT THE REPUBLICANS! Only Hillary or Gore can do this.

When all is said and done- who can beat The GOP and it isn’t Obama that's clear.

Please bring out the super glue and repair this party. And Bill, Mr. President...respectfully.. we love you...but for God sake....play the sax instead. Hillary has to win this and you need to chill out Mr. President. No more negative attacks, Hillary will shine brighter if you let her be her.

BTW.... RFK JR ....Endorsed Hillary!

I think Vice President Gore was a strong senator and candidate for President when he lost to George Bush 8 yeears ago as the Democratic nominee. The Clintons and he had a fall-out. Clinotn's behavior in the Whitehouse with Monica and the impeachment made Gore look bad and the Democratic party lost in the electoral college eventhough Gore won the popular vote. Hillary Clinton and Al Gore often had differences during the 8 yrs. in Washington. Bill Clinton blamed Gore for losing because he didn't let Bill take an active role in his campaign. Gore pointing fingers back at the Clintons. In short I don't think Al Gore will get behind the Clintons now but I wouldn't at all be surprised if senator Obama asked the Nobel Peace Prize winner to run as his Vice Presidential candidate or serve in his cabinet in the Department of Energy to try to reduce global warming in a very real way... I think Al Gore may join Senator Kennedy, and Senator Kerry in endorsing Obama for President. The big questions is when former Senator John Edwards will pull-out of the race and if he'll chose to endorse Obama for President. Edwards has also run on a campaign of change and took a lot of negative hits from the Clinton campaign. He's not likely to endorse Hillary Clinton after all that negativity... I wonder if in November we'll see a McCain/Romney ticket vs. Obama/Gore? Time will tell. We're living through a most incredible period of time in our history... The torch has been passed to the next generation of Americans...

With all the attention John Edwards is getting, I'm really glad to hear there's room for yet another over-rated candidate to join the fray! I just hope people start to weigh substance over rhetoric before its too late.
