Dear Jack: I'm sitting over here in the North, (Canada) in absolute amazement. I am not sure where to begin but i will start with you. You shoot off your big gruff mouth in a manor which convices people that you must know what your talking about. Where was your big mouth after 911 when the Bush people were saying your with us, or against us? There was always at least one other side to things, and you were very quiet.. The hatchet job you and the media are attempting to do to Hilary Clinton is shameful. Let the people speak, report the news and stop trying to effect the out come, you have some responsibility to your viewers not to maniuplate them...It's getting ugly out there, thanks to you!..

Correction: Ron Paul IS at the head of the polls. Check out this link to the Nationwide Zogby Blind Poll done in November '07 which places Ron Paul first at 32% over Rudy Guiliani, a distant second at 18%. Shocking, but somehow somewhere the message and the man at not gettting connected in the minds of the masses.

Ron Paul is not a member of the American ruling class: he's really an outsider. Polically, he seems a sort of Martian. So, big medias and the other statist élites of the country don't support his candidature. But without this kind of support, it is very difficult to be considered a real candidate for the Presidency. Anyway, his consistency is very impressive, and he's very close to the American soul. Eeven in Europe, where I live, there a growing interest for his ideas. He's deep rooted in the best history of the country and his job is important because he's educating thousands and thousands of people on free-market values, peace, individual natural rights, international trade, ando so on. I believe he will have many troubles ("democratic" and "republican" élites can be very cynical, if they fear to loose their control over the society...), but he's opening a new path for the American public opinion of the future years.

What this really means is 7% of a random sample of voters who are Republicans who voted in the previous primaries AND have landlines are going to vote for Ron Paul. But, since a large majority of his supporters are NOT Republicans who voted in the previous primaries (also Independents, Democrats and people who have never voted before) and do not have landlines, it makes since why he does poorly in this type of poll.

The supporters are out there, but the media chooses to ignore Ron Paul.

Polls will reflect what the media wants it to reflect, and most of them don't even list him as an option or they are completely rigged. Another possibility is that Paul's supporters might not even bother participating in such polls because they don't wanna waste their time playing such games.

Ron Paul Revolution is alive and well despite what they tell you!

Jack Jack Jack,

Surely by now you must realize the answer; the polls are a fraud!

Come the primaries I'm positive the people who called Dr. Ron Paul a "dark horse," "long-shot," "fringe candidate," and the like, will be shocked. In fact, NO, I don't think they'll be shocked. I think the KNOW what's going to happen and they're trying desperately to overt the now-obvious outcome. I get tears of joy, elation and relief at the thought of the presidential inauguration of Dr. Ron Paul, the next President of the United States of America.

Jack,

Ron Paul will be the 2008 "spoiler" and responsible for a Hillary win (12/20/07). You may quote me on this in January 2009 if not before (wink, wink)!!

Go Hillary44 08! http://hillaryis44.org/

The contrast between Mike Huckabee and Ron Paul makes it obvious for all to see...

Mike Ron
Pro War Pro Peace
Media darling Media scorned
Weak fundraising Strong fundraising

Poll after poll indicate the American people as a whole want Peace.

Poll after poll of the 2004 Republican Primary voters (the so called "likely voters")
are mostly die hard big government supporters of President Bush.

Is it any wonder that this segment of the Republican base consistently responds in favor of big government Republican candidates this go 'round?

The reason that Dr. Paul is not higher in the polls is simply because the majority of corporate media tools (i.e. Stephanopoulos ) want one of the Tier 1 candidates to win because it makes their job easier and it facilitates the ignorance of Americans. I applaud you (and Mr. Blitzer) for speaking the truth and letting the message of Dr. Paul be aired on the show. Thanks.

Most major polls only draw from a small segment of voters and very few individuals compared to overall voter turnout. But more importantly most of America has been taught that government must protect them, that the system is just and kind and that it is for our own good. Most are afraid to fend for themselves and secretly want to be controlled and told what to do so they don't have to think too much, because anyone who thinks about the entire voting process and the way government protects it's own, the more they become involved. We need to get back to our OWN constitution and our own problems and short falls, and Dr. NO is the answer. Ron Paul can save America if we help him.
