If there is to be positive change in the crime rate, that change will come from the everyday working stiffs struggling without fame day in and day out to do what is right and touching one life at a time. Police do a wonderful job but crimes prove that police can not be present upon the instant it happens. Perhaps if very stiff laws such as automatic death penalty would be issued upon breaking into homes and let's add the same for crimes against our children in society, the pollution of society might be remedied. However, look around us, even Mike Wallace of 60 minutes had his driver hassled while double parking while Mike went inside to pick up his Pizza. When Mike came out looking all of his 87 years he was thrown against a police car for protesting. What happened to the Bill of Rights? Is is obsolete now.
